Standard series rope lifelines are manufactured from 5/8” 3-strand polypropylene,polyethylene blend rope with a 10,600lb breaking strength. This blend is very strong and resists abrasion well. It is also perfect for wet locations as this type of material will not absorb water, making it very mold and mildew resistant.
